Programs - Summer Program Overview 2017/2018

Curtin Football's Summer Program makes our beautiful game a year round activity. Stay fit, catch up with friends (and meet new ones) and and have fun in a welcoming football atmosphere.

Our biggest Summer Program ever, there's something for everyone and friends and new players are always welcome. Let's play!


New for 2018! New girls-only football development:

  • FORMAT: Fun, positive modified game formats and sessions
  • AGES/ABILITY: Girls aged/turning 13-18 years, all ability levels

Futsal fun for everyone!

  • FORMAT: Small sided games played on outdoor and indoor futsal hard courts.
  • AGES/ABILITY: 7-15 years, all ability levels.
  • DAYS/DATES: Tuesdays 4:00-5:00pm during school term.

Curtin's Let's Play format is simple: turn up and play! Try out new skills or learn from others.

  • FORMAT: Small-sided games played outdoors on grass.
  • AGES/ABILITY: 5-16 years, all ability levels.
  • DAYS/DATES: Saturday 10:00-11:00am during school terms.
  • VENUE: Edinburgh Oval, Curtin University, Kent Street, Bentley (map here).

Let's Play Saturday - information and registration


Curtin Football is an official/registered FFA 'MiniRoos Kickoff Centre'.

  • FORMAT: Small sided 4v4 skills games played outdoors. Modified rules to promote inclusiveness, engagement and technical ability.
  • AGES/ABILITY: Boys and Girls ages 4-9. Suited to young kids and beginners.
  • TIMES/DAYS: 5:00-6:00pm Wednesdays only (no Sunday morning sessions)
  • DATES: Wed 11th October - Wed 13th December i.e. School Term 4
  • VENUE: Raphael Park, Victoria Park (map here).

MiniRoos 'Kick Off' - information and registration


Separate sessions for Seniors and Juniors players. Free (no cost) and run by parents/players. Just turn up and play.

  • FORMAT: Games according to numbers and volunteers to set up/pack up pitches.
  • AGES/ABILITY: Seniors and Juniors i.e. all ages.
  • TIMES/DAYS:
    • Juniors - TBC
    • Seniors - TBC (most likely Wednesdays)
  • DATES: Starts 2nd week of October
  • VENUE:
    • Juniors - Raphael Park, Victoria Park (map here).

Social Football - information and registration


New activities including Beach Football, Friendlies, Casual Kick Arounds and even more ways to get fit with football.
