About Summer Social Football for Juniors
CUFC welcomes players from all football clubs to join our summer program
Our social football program keeps the football fun rolling through summer in a fun "come-and-play" format. We cater for the following age groups:
- Kick-Off Juniors (U5-8)
- Juniors (U8-14)
- Youth (U15-18)
The idea is to make CUFC grounds and equipment available for kids to play football in a safe environment without coaching or too much parental involvement before the winter season starts.
This program is FREE for all players, even if you have not registered and want to come-and-try.
This is part of our ongoing initiative and CUFC's ardent commitment to reach out to the youth in our community and make football more accessible to kids of any age and teenagers from all social backgrounds to have a truly unique experience and a great chance for those experienced players to practice and improve their skills in preparation for the new season.
Volunteer(s) Needed
To offer this free program, we need one or more parents to volunteer for the roles below.

Juniors Summer Social Football Coordinator
Responsibilities:
- unlock storeroom and toilets
- supervise pitch setup and packup
- supervise the games (as an adult, not as referee)
- even up teams (if required)
- start and stop the games for drink breaks, full time, etc
- lock storeroom & toilets
U5-8 Summer Game Leader
Responsibilities:
- same as above (specifically for the u5-8 kids)
- u5-8 game leader, just like for u5-7 kickoff Sunday games
Kick-Off Juniors (U5-8)
We are currently considering a social program for our youngest players in January 2023.
For the program to proceed we need a parent to volunteer as the u5-8 game leader (described above)

Juniors (U9-14)
Format
- Mixed boys and girls football
- Combined age group U9-14
- Casual - come to the sessions you can - no commitment required
- Join any time
- Teams are formed before the session
- 5v5 to 9v9s depending on numbers
- No coaching - just social games

TIMES: 5:00pm for a 5:15pm kick-off to 6:30 finish for 8-14s and 7:30 finish for 15s and above
