About
As an NPL club we strive to implment these standards through all our programs, with our coaches completing or holding AFC C-License qualifications. As well as fielding teams in State League Under 18's, Junior Boys Under 18's and is for boys under 16-18 (2005-2007) our coaches create opportunities for our youth players to move up into higher age teams when they are ready. Many of our coaches are also senior players, providing mentors to our youth players and beginning the transition to senior football. the second team playing in a low grade of junior 18 boys (not state league, on a Sunday with interchange). This grade is usually 16 and 17 year olds as significant drop off in the sport happens at this age and some 16 year olds are ready to push for state league under 18s
Additionally, this strategy allows our boys opportunities to play on days that work in with school commitments providing the 'best of both worlds'.
In 2020 our Youth Development program will be overseen by club president Campbell Ballantyne, who will also be the under 18s state league coach. Campbell has extensive experience coaching our first team as well as having completed his AFC C license.

Games
- Players will be slected to play either State League which is usually 11am on Saturday, but has variations or in the junor boys under 18s competition on a Sunday. The squads are fluid with regular movement between the groups. Things to note
- State league is selected on abilty and does not have interchange hence providing equal game time is not feasible.
- Junior Boys is played under junior boys rules with interchange. If a player has had insufficent game time they will be offered the chance to play here.
- The squads train together as a large squad.
- Players who play private school sport are welcome to join and we will accomdate them given not all games will clash.
