Curtin University Football Club is aiming to support their long-time member Xavier as he seeks to grow his hair in aid of young people suffering cancer. The club would like to host 2-3 intra club friendly football matches as a preseason event prior to the State League Night Series Game against South West Phoenix Football Club at 5.30PM.

To aid in the charitable cause we would invite all of our senior member’s down to Edinburgh oval to participate in shortened football matches. Each player will be asked to pay $10 for the game 100% of which will go straight to charity to flow onto those suffering with cancer.

Due to the earliness of the event, both in context of the season and time of day the games will be shortened to 60 or 70 minutes with 2 extra drinks breaks.

We hope to get as many senior members down and use this as an excuse to get together and have some fun before the season commences. We would also encourage all those who play to stick around post game and watch the State League Night Series Game whilst enjoying some food and beverages.

One game confirmed for 3.30pm between State League Reserves and Amatuers division 3. But we would love to have 1 or 2 more games running along side
