It’s an initiative from Curtin University Football Club to get boys, girls, men and women playing football. It’s about having a kick with your mates, having a laugh and to meet some new people in a social football environment. All in an attempt to recreate and stimulate the ‘social football’ environment.

On Tuesday evenings, at Edinburgh Oval in Bentley, the club provides portable goals, small coned pitches, bibs and balls and a mandate for everyone just to have a go and enjoy themselves.

Last year’s Coaching Coordinator, Ian Morris, commented, “It’s been great to see between 50-60 kids from 7 to 16 week in week out playing non-stop football for 75 minutes. There is no coaching, no ‘PlayStation’ parenting, no adult interference, just a lot of fun.

This is not exclusively limited to Curtin Uni FC players, anyone can come down whenever they like to play. We encourage anyone to come down, chuck on a bib and mix in with the other players, many of whom will be there for the first time as well.

Food and drink will be available at the club house at club prices. So why not come down and give it a go there is no lump sum payments or sign up fees, you simply pay when you want to play. Simple, social and whole heap of fun, see you there!

Seniors (men’s womens and mixed) juniors willing / old enough to join in are also welcome it’s very casual with no hard tackling
