Teams - Women's State League and Metro

Competitions and Teams

We are entering 3 women's teams in these FootballWest competitions:

Women's State League Division 1

Women's Metro League Divisions (TBC)

State League First team plays at a competitive level and is for experienced players.

We have a Division 2 Metro League team which is ideal for those who have some experience in the game and want to play in a competitive but social league.

We are also aiming to have a more social team this year for beginners to the game or players who wish a lower level of commitment.

New players are welcome to come to a training session and just join in. No need to call in advance, you are able to just turn up, introduce yourself and play. Training is always on: rain, hail or shine just make sure to bring your boots. Should you feel the need to contact some one, keep reading.

Games:

State League play teams across Perth Metropolitan (and occasionally in Bunbury), with home games every second Sunday generally. Games are generally mid morning / early afternoon.

Metropolitan teams play south based clubs and generally kick off in the morning on Sundays (this can change throughout the season).

The season will likely begin mid to late April, 2019.

Registration:

Registration is now open. You are not able to take the field for Curtin in an offical fixture including night series without completing your registration. Early registration is encouraged and makes for a more organised season as the club nominates team numbers based on registration numbers. We expect 2 or 3 over age teams in 2019.

Uniform / dress code:

Your registration does not include shorts, socks, match day shirt and your own training bib and these items need to be purchased separately . This ensures we look like a team, before and after the game. Details below: You can order your gear immediately from our online store allow 1-2 weeks for it to arrive.

Get Started:

Need to ask a question? Want to get info on training, games and team selection and find out about club events? Get the Curtin Football Team App. Instructions on New Players page - just make sure you select to join the 'Women's' access group on the app. If you need help, just come to training and ask a fellow player etc. This page also has information about fees and registration.
